Danielle Peazer, dancer and ex-girlfriend of the late One Direction singer Liam Payne, has taken another major step in her personal life by getting engaged to her partner, Dancing on Ice winner Sonny Jay.
The proposal took place on a cliffside in Ibiza, with the couple sharing photos on social media capturing the moment Sonny got down on one knee. Peazer accepted, showing off her engagement ring as the pair celebrated with a series of pictures together.
In a joint post, they wrote: “Here’s to forever, with the one who made me believe in true love.”
The engagement comes after more than three years together. The couple also shares a daughter, Mia, born in May 2024.
Peazer previously dated Liam Payne after meeting him during his time on The X Factor with One Direction. Their relationship ended in 2013, but they remained on friendly terms.
Following Payne’s death in October 2024, Peazer shared that he had reached out to her just weeks prior to express his happiness for her relationship with Jay and the birth of her daughter.
Jay is a well-known British radio host and television personality who won Dancing on Ice in 2021 and previously rose to prominence on Britain’s Got Talent with the group Loveable Rogues.
