The Minister of Defense in Kosovo, Armend Mehaj, said that the KSF has raised the state of readiness of its first reaction units, in case of need, after the rains that gripped the country.
He says that he also informed the Minister of Interior, Xhelal Svecla.
“Dear citizens of my country, The meteorological situation since yesterday is under full monitoring and permanent assessment of the professional authorities of the KSF. Today I have contacted directly, Minister Sveçla and I have communicated to him that with my directive, the KSF has raised the state of readiness of its first reaction units, in case of need “, he said.
He says that the KSF is ready to perform the tasks of military support of civil and local authorities to come to the aid of citizens.
“Based on the Integrated Emergency Management System and the National Response Plan, the KSF is ready to carry out its constitutional mission and legal tasks in military support of central and local civil authorities. Also, we are in full readiness to offer the selfless service to help our citizens with all available operational capabilities and capacities “, he added.
