The Tirana Prosecutor’s Office has resumed the suspended investigations into the murder of Aleks Nika in the protest of January 21, 2011 in the square in front of the Prime Minister’s Office.
The case has been registered with the prosecutor’s office for 1 month and the investigation is continuing with concrete actions.
According to information, the prosecution is also investigating the injuries of two protesters.
It is learned that the Tirana prosecutor’s office has resumed the suspended investigation for one of the murders that occurred during the January 21 protest 10 years ago.
Investigations were suspended and the murder of Alex Nika remained without perpetrator, while it was not possible to prove from which weapon the victim was shot.
It is therefore learned that re-examination will be required to determine which weapon was fired.
