Although the last remaining surprises were almost absent at the Microsoft event on Thursday, one of them caused a stir.
The next version of Windows will enable the installation and use of Android applications.
This will be achieved with Intel Bridge technology that promises integration as if they were applications designed for Windows.
What Microsoft did not say is how it will work. Intel describes Bridge technology as a platform that enables the use of applications that are designed for other platforms running on x86 devices.
But it is not technology limited to Android applications on Windows 11. Intel Bridge will also work with any x86 processor, including those manufactured by AMD.
It will practically work the same way as Mac users with the M1 processor can use iOS apps and their developers do not need to make any modifications. / PCWorld Albanian
