New details have emerged in the investigation into the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, who was shot during an event at Utah Valley University.
According to preliminary reports cited by Fox News, investigators discovered messages written on the firearm and ammunition used in the attack. The inscriptions on the bullets allegedly contained references to “transgender and anti-fascist ideology.”
The weapon, identified as a German-made Mauser .30-06 bolt-action rifle, was reportedly recovered wrapped in a towel in a wooded area after the shooting.
The Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) are reviewing the evidence but have not yet confirmed whether the descriptions fully match the items recovered at the scene.
The investigation remains ongoing as federal and local authorities continue to examine the motive and circumstances surrounding the attack that has drawn nationwide attention.
