The unusual name of Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s second child has been revealed, one month after the singer gave birth.
The creator of the hit “Diamonds,” aged 35, and the rapper, aged 34, have named their son Riot Rose Mayers, according to The Blast.
The name may be a nod to A$AP’s recent song “Riot” released earlier this year, featuring Pharrell Williams.
According to the birth certificate obtained by the publication, Riot was born on August 1, 2023, at 7:41 AM at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.
The couple chose to continue their tradition of naming their children with names starting with ‘R,’ as they named their first son, born in May 2022, RZA Athelston Mayers.
