Windows 11 is coming this year as a free update for Windows 10 users, but most likely for many of you the hardware will not enable it.
Microsoft has released hardware requirements and Windows 11 will only support 8th generation Intel processors, including Pentium and Celeron.
Potentially millions of Windows 10 devices will be left with the full support of Windows 11 including devices like Microsoft’s Surface Studio 2.
Older devices will be alerted during the installation of Windows 11 but will not be hindered from installing it.
Windows 11 also officially supports AMD Ryzen 2000 or higher and second-generation EPYC processors.
