UEFA and Adidas introduced the new official ball of the Champions League for the 2021-2022 season. Named “Pyrostorm”, the new ball differs slightly from recent years, except that the stars are preserved. The sphere combines a white base with yellow, red and black for star panels.
All logos are black. Unlike previous Champions League balls, Pyrostorm comes without small graphic elements, but only with one star. The official color combination is white, solar red, yellow and solar black.
Technically, the new Champions League soccer ball is the same as all of the last 5 years, both in weight, material and diameter. This ball will be used starting the play-off phase of the Champions. It is not known if there will be another during the knockout phase or in the final.
