Prime Minister Rama said yesterday that he is working to set up a network of informants inside hospitals to fight the corruption of white shirts.
During his speech before the “Queen Geraldine” maternity doctors, the head of government said that the state administration will be cleansed of those who take bribes to provide services. “These things that are happening, fortunately, are the first signs of a change that will deepen and of a movement that will become more and more inclusive at every level. The state cannot be a ‘rifugio pecatorium’ for sinners and predators at the expense of the citizens who keep the state afloat with their contributions.
One cannot sin with the blood of patients, one cannot sin with the tears of family members, one cannot sin with the sweat of citizens in any system within the general state system. “These are sins that go far beyond the personal and involve in a very dangerous way, often as a deadly collective, common cancer,” said the head of government.
The Prime Minister spoke about the measures that the government is taking to fight corruption. “We are in the process of building a whole anti-corruption network, on our part, not on the part of the new justice, to put under double pressure our entire public system, not just our health system, but the entire public system. , because all that we do, loses a significant part of their value, in case the system continues to feed parasites and predators, who are there to serve the state of the people.
This is why even in hospitals, we have started to establish and will extend to the end, as in all direct service institutions to the public, the network of individuals who will be there just for this work, to share or to contribute to the separation of the wet from the dry. There can be no fight against corruption if that fight does not take place within the state, that is, within all institutions and all systems of organization of the executive power where public funds are managed, where salaries are paid with citizens’ taxes and where people receive services.
