Microsoft asked Windows users to install an update urgently after security researchers discovered a serious problem in the operating system.
The security issue known as PrintNightmare is found in the Windows Print Spooler service. Sangfor company researchers have accidentally published a guide to exploiting this problem.
At the end of May they published on the social network Twitter the discovered problem where some users could access a printer. Less as evidence of their finding they mistakenly published online a guide to using it and despite deleting it immediately, the guide had made the rounds online completed on GitHub as well.
Microsoft warned that hackers through this problem could install software, view and delete data and even create new users. Enough control enough to do a great deal of damage.
Windows 10 is not the only affected version, but also Windows 7 that Microsoft ended support for. However, the company decided to offer the update for the 12-year operating system as well. / PCWorld Albanian
