Just weeks after debuting on Android, Clubhouse has already been downloaded 1 million times in the Google Play Store.
Despite this high interest, Clubhouse continues to be a service that can only be used through an invitation. Thus new users must secure invitations from existing Clubhouse users before joining the audio communication platform.
Clubhouse debuted in the second week of May on Android but only in the US. A few weeks later and the company made the app available worldwide.
There are only two days that it is available worldwide. For more than a year it was an iOS-only franchise.
Since the beginning of 2021 the application has grown more in popularity. As of February this year it is reported to have been downloaded 13 million times.
As Android has a wider user base compared to iOS and Clubhouse on this platform is expected to exceed the number of iOS downloads soon. / PCWorld Albanian
