Bashkim Dedja, acting President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Albania, and Fatos Lulo, former member of the Constitutional Court, were sent to the CCK by the SPAK after the completion of investigations into non-declaration and concealment of assets.
Bashkim Dedja, is accused of committing the criminal offense of “Refusal to declare, non-declaration, concealment or false declaration of assets, private interests of elected persons and public servants or any other person who has a legal obligation to declare”, committed in the form of declaration of falsehood and concealment, provided by Article 257 / a / 2 of the Criminal Code.
Fatos Lulo is accused of committing the criminal offense of “Refusal to declare, non-declaration, concealment or false declaration of assets, private interests of elected persons and public servants or any other person who has a legal obligation to declare”, committed in the form of declaration of false, provided by Article 257 / a / 2 of the Criminal Code.
Sequestration of assets:
Recall that the Special Court Against Corruption and Organized Crime decided in April sequestration of the assets of the former President of the Constitutional Court, Bashkim Dedja and former Judge Fatos Lulo. The SPAK discovered from the criminal investigation data that the former judges owned real estate, which they did not justify with legal sources, or assets that they hid. A 172 m2 shop, located on Durrës Street, Tirana, was seized from Fatos Lulos. Also, GJKKO, after accepting the request of SPAK, has decided to seize the property owned by the citizen Bashkim Dedja, apartment type, with an area of 60 m2, located in the area Kryemedhenj, Administrative Unit Golem Kavaja.
