A serious incident occurred in Greece where a 39-year-old British woman lost her life after receiving the AtraZeneca vaccine in early May.
Greek media suggest that after receiving the vaccine the British woman suffered thrombosis and as a result lost her life after a week.
A spokesman for the State Health Organization of Cyprus, Charalambos Charilaou, said the 39-year-old had died of thrombosis.
The 39-year-old was vaccinated in early May in Cyprus with the AstraZeneca vaccine and a few days later she suffered a blood clot. She was initially hospitalized in Paphos, but due to her serious condition was transferred to Nicosia General Hospital.
