Read the announcement of the director of the festival “Rapsha 2021”:
Honorable compatriots, honored artists from all ethnic lands, honorable diaspora,
We would like to inform you that the Directorate of the Nationwide Folklore Festival “Rapsha 2021” -Malësi e Madhe, called to the epidemiological measures published by the Institute of Public Health of Montenegro, on July 30, 2021, which provide for the suspension of festivals, carnivals , restrictions on guests in hotels and restaurants and the obligation to be vaccinated or tested negative for the COVID-19 virus, and according to the decision that these measures are valid at least until August 20, 2021, despite all efforts and organizational activities and uninterrupted work for a proper organization of such a magnificent cultural event, in the meeting held on August 3, 2021, brought the decision to postpone the holding of the Nationwide Folklore Festival “Rapsha 2021” -Malësi e Madhe.
Although unable to realize the planned project, the Festival Directorate thanks all those who have contributed in any way to enable the realization of this project, whose names we will publish in the next post.
The Directorate of the Festival apologizes to all for the impossibility of realizing this great cultural event long awaited by all, with the hope that in 2022 the epidemiological situation will improve and we will be given the opportunity to organize the Nationwide Folklore Festival “Rapsha ”-Malësi e Madhe.
