SPAK has asked the Special Court to confiscate the assets of Armand Marku and Gerti Marku, who are declared internationally wanted for drug trafficking in Italy. According to the SPAK, these assets were set off by the criminal activity they carried out in the neighboring state and that their sources of income do not justify the assets set up. In the ‘sieve’ of SPAK are also the assets of the family of Armand and Gerti Markut.
Armand Marku and Gerti Marku (Ledio Hallkokondi) have been declared internationally wanted by Interpol Rome for the criminal offense “Participation in a Criminal Organization for the purpose of drug trafficking”. A Milan court has previously sentenced Armand Marku to 6 years and two months in prison for drug trafficking and complicity in crime.
SPAK requests from GJKKO the confiscation of a hotel in Saranda, a swimming pool in Saranda, a shop in Tirana and a plot of land.

1. Immovable property of land type, with a total area of 688 m2, as well as the building built on it, hotel “Harbor”, located in the area “Tourism Çuka Channel” Saranda, owned by the citizen Petro Branko.

3. Real estate of service unit type, with an area of 51 m2, located on Don Bosko Street, Tirana, purchased in 2017 at a price of 105,000 euros.
