A touching event has occurred in China where father and son have reunited after 58 years of separation.
Foreign media have reported that a 90-year-old man named Luo has reunited with his son after 58 years when he was abducted at a train station in Zaozhuang City in China’s eastern Shandong province.
The video shows the moment when the old man is standing surrounded by friends and acquaintances and at that moment his son appears and runs towards him. They hug with tears as people record the moment.
Foreign media, among other things, suggest that the serious incident happened at the moment when father and son were waiting for the train, but at one point the 2-year-old lost sight of his father. The boy is believed to have been abducted by human traffickers who took him to Shanghai, where he was later adopted by a couple.
Luo and his family searched for Fu for years, using newspapers, other media, and later the Internet to find him. And in 2015, the public safety department in Zaozhuang opened a separate investigation into the incident using the latest DNA testing technology available and expanded the search to other Chinese provinces.
