Not only Albania but also Northern Macedonia is looking for excellent and successful people to contribute ideas, plans and projects for the country.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bujar Osmani in a press conference has introduced the so-called M-card, which is a kind of identity card that will be distributed to this category of people in the diaspora.
“This network will be managed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, by a coordinating body that will facilitate their functioning, will enable us to have a reservoir of experts who will be part of the decisions,” he said.
Osmani stressed that some institutions in the country have already supported this project, and according to him the privileges for those who will possess such a card from the diaspora, will be constantly increased.
“It will be possible to facilitate the opening of businesses, financial assistance from investment institutions that the holders of this card will have in Northern Macedonia. The Ministry of Culture has enabled special entrances to cultural institutions.
The Ministry of Education also provides access to the education system, equal to the people living here, even with some additional privileges. “They will also have priority in MFA projects,” he said
