Nvidia will soon remove support for some of the older graphics cards such as the GTX 600 and 700 series built into the Kepler architecture.
The R470 version will be the latest graphics driver to support the GTX 600 and 700 series. This development will only affect graphics cards of the Kepler architecture.
Models based on Maxwell and Pascal technology will not be affected such as the GTX 750 and the Ti variant.
Drivers launched after the 470 will only support Maxwell graphics and beyond.
The latest version launched by Nvidia was R465, specifically 466.7. Simply put, nothing will change with Kepler GeForce, Quadro or Tesla graphics cards when new drivers arrive.
However, the GTX 600 and 700 series graphics cards will receive support with security updates until 2025. / PCWorld Albanian
