As people prepare for the advent of Windows 11, some have learned that their computer is capable of running the operating system, a decision made by the PC Health Check app.
Microsoft has provided explanations as to why users have received negative results and what will happen in the future.
PC Health Check gives users the ability to find out if their computer is running Windows 11. Unfortunately it caused a lot of confusion and some users who have the latest gaming computers realized that Windows 11 is not for them.
Worst of all this tool gives no explanation, just a message that the computer specifications were poor.
It soon became clear that Microsoft was not looking for the true power of computers but how the latest is your hardware. Microsoft designed Windows 11 with three factors in mind: security, durability, and compatibility.
Currently the company believes they need to have Intel Gen 8, AMD Zen 2, Qualcomm 7 and 8 processors for these three factors to be compatible.
But those who have older processors no matter how powerful they are failed to control PC Health Check. Microsoft is already checking whether the Intel Gen 7 and AMD Zen 1 are compatible with these three indicators that Windows 11 needs.
Until the situation is clarified Microsoft has decided to release the system requirements page offline. PC Health Check caused great confusion where users with very powerful computers learned that they could not “install” Windows 11. / PCWorld Albanian
