Now that Microsoft has introduced Windows 11, you may be wondering what hardware you need to install.
Hardware requirements are higher than those of Windows 10. Specifically a 64-bit processor, 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory is needed.
With Windows 11 there will be no more 32-bit operating system although the software of this architecture will continue to work.
The easiest way to find out if your system supports Windows 11 is by downloading the Microsoft PC Health application which automatically shows the specifications and configuration of the operating system.
The hardware requirements are as follows:
- Processor: 1 Ghz with 2 or more 64-bit cores
- RAM: 4GB
- Memory: 64GB
- System Firmware: UEFI, Secure Boot
- TPM: Version 2
- Graphics card: compatible with DirectX 12
- Screen: 720p or higher
In 2015, when Microsoft released Windows 10, it kept these specifications hidden, which it later increased, while today everything is clear. The abandonment of the 32-bit system comes due to the increase of unaffordable functionalities from this architecture. / PCWorld Albanian
