Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has physically clashed with opposition leader Vuk Jeremic. The reason for their conflict of several months is Kosovo and Albania.
This photo published by the Serbian media clearly shows the conflict between them. As it is seen, the president has rolled up his sleeves and is ready to attack the leader of the opposition, a conflict that has taken place in the presidency.
For the media, Jereimic stated that the confrontation with Vucic was really unpleasant.
“The president came down from his office and was shaking. It was an uncomfortable situation even for the security forces. Vucic started shouting, saying “come and beat me”. But in those moments his bodyguards neutralized him. I invited him out but he did not dare .. He cursed, offended and threatened us. “He told me I was a thief.” said Jeremic.
Serbian media report that the incident between Jeremic and Vucic started after the latter stated that Jeremic’s unworthy party should be fought. To clarify the debate, Vucic called Jeremic to his office, but everything did not go as planned.
They are two fierce opponents on the Serbian political scene even though it is completely dominated by the president.
The conflict between them has intensified since Serbia backed Albania as a temporary member of the Security Council. Jeremic has asked Vucic to explain the vote in favor of our country.
