Villagers, firefighters and helicopters in “war” with the flames

Bera
The fire on Tomor Mountain has been going on for 7 days.
High temperatures and winds have caused the fire to spread, creating new fires, while in some areas it is reported that many fires are towards neutralization. Twenty-five army forces and residents of the villages around Tomori have arrived to help ADZM employees.
As the terrain is difficult and vehicles are unable to enter the area, the fire is being extinguished by human forces.

Four helicopters have made about 36 water jumps from today throughout the burning space, but this has not been enough to neutralize all the fires that are still spreading in some areas by the wind.

Official sources from ADZM Berat confirm that so far about 23 hectares of pine forest have been burned and several wildlife habitats and many bird nests have been burned.

ADZM informs that, from this directorate, more military forces and helicopters have been asked for help, but so far no additional help has come.
