Kurbin police have arrested after 42 minutes of pursuit and keeping under surveillance by drone a 42-year-old man who was declared wanted after having criminal records in the field of property theft. Also, his neighbor was caught red-handed, who is now accused of “Opposing a police officer” and “Supporting the perpetrator”.
“The Kurbin Police Station Service, based on the information provided by the police on the whereabouts of a wanted citizen, have organized the work to apprehend him. As a result, after a few minutes of being chased and kept under surveillance by drone, they made it possible to catch and arrest the citizen:
Ervin (Astrit) Kasmi, 42 years old, resident of Fushë Milot, with a previous criminal record in the field of property theft ”, said the police.
Ervin (Astrit) Kasmi was declared nationally wanted, after the Court of First Instance sentenced Kurbin to 3 years in prison, for the criminal offense “Theft”, committed in collaboration.
Also, the citizen AB, 41 years old, resident in Fushë Milot, was arrested in flagrante delicto, after he prevented the police officers from performing their duty by opposing them and helped the citizen Ervin Kasmi to hide in his apartment.
The investigative materials were referred to the Kurbin Judicial District Prosecutor’s Office for further action.
