Aleksandër Nilaj, lives in New York, USA and is the founder of the Albanian-American association “Open Hand”. His association has been active for more than eight years and strives to help people in need during the pandemic period.
Together with other volunteers, he distributes food on 2141 Holland Avenue, every Thursday and Saturday. “I would like to thank all our volunteers for the tireless and great work you have all done, for the people in need in our community,” he wrote on social media.
