Aleksandër Nilaj lives in New York, USA and is the founder of the Albanian-American association “Open Hand”.
Together with representatives of the organization, as a sign of gratitude for the good work in the service of the citizens, he presented to the Captain of Region 49 of the New York City Police Department an artistic work made by hand by an Albanian mother, Dila Kocaj.
The captain thanked for the wonderful surprise and immediately stated that he would place it on the wall of the main salon of the 49 NYPD police district in the Bronx NY.
