At a time when much of Europe is facing severe flooding, some regions are facing high temperatures.
The United Kingdom, unlike its characteristic temperatures is accompanied by high, unusual temperatures for the island country, where on Sunday England and Wales marked their hottest day, with temperatures reaching up to 31.6C (88.9F) in Heathrow and 30.2C (86.4F) in Cardiff.
Sunday’s scorching temperatures conclude a record weekend across the UK. Where Northern Ireland on Saturday also marked the hottest day in its history with 31.2C. Same in England, the temperature marked 30.3C exceeding the 29.7C recorded in south-west London on 14 June.
While high temperatures are expected to last throughout the week.
The situation is similar in Spain, where meteorologists have pointed out that during the week temperatures in Madrid can go around 40 degrees Celsius.
The situation in Paris is the same, where the last four days have seen low temperatures which are expected to increase further in the coming days.
