TripAdvisor Traveler’s Choice Awards recently rated a Greek hotel as the best in all-inclusive accommodation (with all-inclusive) worldwide for 2021. Another prestigious hotel in Greece was awarded a prestigious award after voted the third best hotel in the world by travelers.
The prices, which were announced in January, are considered the most reliable in the industry because they rely solely on customer experience and ratings – unlike other hotel prices, which are often based on expert opinions, which can not match the needs of customers. TripAdvisor praises Greece for the excellent quality of its hotel rooms.
Prices for the 19th edition were announced in time for summer 2021 bookings, shortly after Greek hotels opened to foreign tourists after an extremely difficult year after tackling the coronavirus pandemic.
The best all-inclusive hotel worldwide for 2021 was Ikos Olivia, in Gerakini, Halkidiki. The resort boasts four swimming pools as well as a varied kitchen.
Sani Dunes Resort, also in Halkidiki, was rated the third best hotel in the world. It boasts its numerous swimming pools for tourists as well as six tennis courts and is considered an ideal place for a romantic trip as children must be 13 years old and above to stay at this hotel.
The two hotels in Greece are owned by the Sani / Ikos Group. The manager of the group, Dimitris Kontos, said that “the visitors who chose the unique holiday experience offered by Sani Resort and Ikos Resorts, especially during the difficult times we are in, honored us with high marks”, appreciating Sani / Ikos Group as two of the best resorts in the world.
“This fact makes us very proud and gives us the necessary motivation to continue the efforts to stay on top, with more dedication. “A strong ally in all efforts this year has been and is the full measures to protect the health of visitors and staff.”
Greece opens for tourism
Greece opened for tourism on Friday, May 14th. Government plans to welcome foreign travelers while keeping people safe from coronavirus include entry requirements, comprehensive vaccination campaigns at tourist spots, and vaccine passports.
All travelers to Greece will need to complete the Passenger Location Form (PLF) one day before arrival. People entering the country, regardless of the point of entry, will also need to be provided with a negative PCR test done in the last 72 hours or a certificate indicating that they have been fully vaccinated.
Greece is also planning to complete the vaccination of tourism sector workers and residents of popular island destinations as soon as possible, in order to minimize infections.
