Prime Minister Edi Rama was today in By Pass of Vlora, where the panoramic road axis has been opened, which will facilitate the circulation of vehicles during the summer season.
Work on this road is expected to be completed within this year and as the head of government said, in September there will be no more construction site on this road.
Rama said that this project was problematic due to expropriations, but everything has been resolved and the work has gone properly.
“Today we are here to give whoever leaves for the south, to cross from Vlora to the Ionian coast has a different opportunity. It passes with great ease even in a fragment of nature previously unknown, with a panoramic trip that introduces every vacationer and every visitor to the holiday climate. Time has been used in an exemplary manner. The project was problematic, expropriations stalled, now here we are. In the fall, there is no more construction site here “, said Rama.
Also present was the Minister of Infrastructure, Belinda Balluku, who informed the Prime Minister about the progress of work. According to her, this road axis is equipped with signalization and will be monitored by radar.
“Signs have been placed that show speed limits, we have asked the state police, traffic police for increased forces at points where we think there may be accidents and to have them under control.
By Passi will be monitored by radar, we hope everything goes well. The work will continue “, said Balluku.
