The full message of the Head of the Albanian Muslim Committee:
Bismilahi-Rrahamini-Rrahim
In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
Praise be to Allaah, the Creator of the worlds.
May the peace and blessings of God be upon Muhammad (pbuh)
Dear citizens, tomorrow, July 20, 2021, is the feast of Eid al-Adha.
Allah Almighty in Surah Kawthar in the Qur’an says:
“We really gave you a lot of good. So pray and offer sacrifices for the sake of your Lord! ”
While in surah An’nam reminds us:
Say: My prayer, my sacrifice, my life and my death are only for Allah, the Lord of the worlds
Dear believers, even a few hours separate us from the feast.
Eid al-Adha is an important holiday in Islam.
On this day we commemorate the sacrifice of Ibrahim (as), the unparalleled patience of Ishmael (as), then only a child, and the compassion of the heroic mother Hajira.
The Sacrifice testifies to us that human sacrifice, patience and compassion are pleasing to God, if we are to gain the mercy and forgiveness of the Absolute All-Merciful, the Lord of the universe.
“Neither the blood nor the flesh of your sacrifices reaches Allah, but your piety reaches Him,” says God in the Glorious Qur’an.
This Eid gives us the message that, in order to attain the pleasure and pleasure of God Almighty, sincerity and piety are necessary.
Slaughter the Sacrifice tomorrow, whoever has the opportunity, and share it with people in need. This truly is a pleasing work of God.
Sacrifice is a message of peace, spread it.
Sacrifice is joy for children, enjoy them with gifts.
The sacrifice is solidarity, be solidarity on Eid and every day.
Sacrifice is reconciliation, reconcile and forgive each other.
We ask God to accept our sacrifices, our worship and our prayers.
We pray to God for peace and prosperity in our country and all humanity.
I wish you peace, prosperity and kindness in your families!
Amen!
The feast of Eid al-Adha is one of the two most important holidays of Muslim believers: Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha.
The latter, according to Islamic tradition, honors Ibrahim’s willingness to sacrifice his son, Ishmael, as an act of submission to God’s command, before God intervenes, through his angel Gabriel, and informs Ibrahim that his sacrifice has been accepted. already.
The name “Kurban Bajrami” in the Albanian language is borrowed from Turkish – Kurban Bayramë, which means “Feast of Sacrifice”.
In the Hijri (Islamic) calendar, Eid al-Adha falls on the 10th day of the month of Dhul-Hijjah and lasts for four days. In the Gregorian calendar, the date varies from year to year going approximately 11 days earlier each year.
To summarize in a few words Kurban Bajrami is the feast of the defeat of our ego, the defeat of the nephew who always seeks to be before.
