Romelu Lukaku’s future at Inter remains in doubt. Chelsea, realizing that it was impossible to buy Haaland from Borussia Dortmund, launched the offensive by offering the Belgian striker a salary of 15 million euros (including bonuses), while the Zika club 130 million euros. Inter have already identified at least two Serie A players for the Belgian replacement (Duvan Zapata and Dusan Vlahovic) and one abroad (Lacazette).
At the moment there are still no official contacts with either Atalanta or Fiorentina, but it is clear that Inter is already working so as not to be caught unprepared in the event of Lukaku leaving. A painful farewell, which requires careful consideration both economically and technically. The Colombian from the physical and technical point of view would be the ideal replacement for Lukaku and the operation could be closed for 45 million euros.
The situation is different for Vlahovic. The Fiorentina striker is almost ten years younger than the Atalanta striker and costs more, has different characteristics, but could represent a huge investment for the future given what he has already shown last season. If the arrival of Zapata or Vlahovic is not concretized, Inter could in fact turn to Lacazette.
