Twitter decided to launch a new service called Twitter Blue, and it will initially be available in Canada and Australia.
The paid service brings advanced features like undo tweet, bookmarks and a reading mode said the social network.
The limited launch is done in order for the company to better understand what customers are looking for.
But the social network said that the free service will remain on the platform and the variant is not built to compromise the functionality of the free service.
This service costs $ 2.99. Twitter also said users will have access to experience customization features ranging from icons to colors.
Those who choose the paid service will have a dedicated customer support while the advanced features come as request from the users themselves.
- Bookmarks – help users store and organize tweets
- Undo tweet – users have 30 seconds after posting to correct mistakes made while posting a tweet
- Reader mode – tweets become easier text to read
This service does not include the blue profile verification tag. What Twitter did today is a new territory and the idea that Facebook would one day charge a fee sparked panic among users. It remains to be seen how they will react to Twitter. / PCWorld Albanian
