Leica, one of Huawei’s most popular camera brands and key partners, has found a new partner as the Chinese company faces US sanctions that have forced it to withdraw from international markets.
Japanese company Sharp introduced the Aquos R6 in Japan which comes with a lens with the Leica brand and is the largest sensor we can find today on a smartphone.
With a size of 1-inch 20-megapixel, in specifications it is similar to the high-end Sony RX100 cameras. It is the second 1-inch sensor that manages to penetrate a smartphone where the first was introduced by Panasonic in 2014.
The phone that comes closest in terms of camera is the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra that has a 1 / 1.12-inch sensor.
With f / 1.9 aperture it is wider than any other 19mm sensor. The Aquos R6 has a large 6.6-inch screen with a resolution of 2730 × 1260 pixels and a brightness of 2000 nits.
Other specifications are standard for a 2021 flagship like the Snapdragon 888 processor, 12GB RAM, 128GB memory and 5,000 mAh battery. The price of the smartphone is still unknown. / PCWorld Albanian
