The ‘Guxo’ list and the Vetëvendosje Movement will run together in the local elections that are expected to be held on October 17 this year.
This was announced by the acting chairwoman of the Guxo List, Donika Gërvalla. Gërvalla said that joint competition in these elections will bring change in Kosovo.
Gërvalle full post:
Dear members, supporters and voters of the Guxo List,
In the national elections Lista Guxo competed together with Lëvizja Vetvendosje and together we managed to use the force of the vote to make the change expected by the citizens of Kosovo. Therefore, we are convinced that joint competition in the local elections will finally bring the long-awaited change in Kosovo. Therefore, Lista Guxo has decided to participate in joint elections with the Vetvendosje Movement in the next municipal elections. This is not only because the Referendum List (VV + Guxo + Alternativa) achieved the plebiscite victory in the elections of February 14 this year, but also because our joint governing coalition has proven that it knows and wants to make the promised change.
The coalition aims for the rule of law with equal opportunities for all. No one has the right to collect votes for another destination on behalf of the Guxo List, in the name of its political spirit and concept.
The Guxo list represents change. All those who embrace the political vision of the Guxo List should aim for the promised radical change in the country and not to be the crutch of other political concepts, which in the February 14 elections were severely punished by the citizens of the country. The changes that are coming to Kosovo will create a better perspective for everyone. This is not achieved by allocating state posts to party militants, without expertise and professional competence. Those who feel disappointed with the fact that the selection in state institutions is already done on the basis of professional criteria and not by rewarding party militants, have not clearly understood the message that the Kosovar voter gave in the national elections.
We inform the members and sympathizers of the Guxo List that in the coming days, together with the two deputies of Ferizaj of the Guxo List and with the many supporters and activists, we will meet to coordinate on the next steps. Such meetings will be held throughout the country.
