Governments of different countries are using a range of policies to encourage their citizens to be vaccinated against COVID.

The Cypriot government has recently taken new measures to prevent the spread of the pandemic, which will take effect on July 20.

The Minister of Health stated that after studying all the data, the suggestions of experts decided to take additional measures in order to prevent the spread of the virus.

No more than 10 people will be allowed on the restaurant tables. In places with music only those who have been vaccinated with both doses or have a certificate that they have been infected with COVID in the last 6 months will be allowed.

The government has predicted that young people who will receive the vaccine will be provided with gift vouchers. Thirteen private companies in various business sectors will provide incentives for vaccinated individuals mainly aged 18-30.
