Former US President Donald Trump told Fox Business that he sees Bitcoin a hoax that affects the value of the US dollar.
“Bitcoin sounds like a hoax to me,” Trump said. “I do not like it for the sole reason that it is another currency that competes with the dollar.”
He added that he wants the dollar to be the currency the world uses.
The price of bitcoin has been falling since the beginning of May and to date has not recovered yet. The decline is attributed to Chinese government measures to block cryptocurrency transactions as well as US manufacturer Tesla which said it would not accept bitcoin for the purchase of its products. / PCWorld Albanian
