Former Chief Prosecutor Adriatik Llalla appealed this Thursday in the Special Appeal. He challenged the first-instance court’s decision finding him guilty of falsely declaring and concealing property and sentenced him to two years in prison.
The former senior official according to the court verdict can not exercise public functions for a period of 5 years, while it was decided to confiscate some assets that the defendant did not justify with legal sources.
The former Prosecutor General says that this decision is unfair and that is why he will continue to face justice, now in the second instance of the judiciary.
