Veljko Belivuk, suspected as the leader of a criminal group, denied that the pro-killer spoke about his alleged relationship with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and people from his party. As he said, Vucic and his associates demanded more services – starting with the request to check that Partizan tribunes did not cheer against the president; to intimidate those who organized protests against the government; to ensure peace in the “Pride Parade”, etc.
In early August, the Organized Crime Prosecution is expected to file a lawsuit against Veljko Belivuk, also known as Velja Nevolja, leader of the hooligan criminal group “Principi”, after being charged with 5 murders; a hostage-taking and drug trafficking. The Belivuk clan is considered one of the most brutal in the region.
But it has also been rumored that they have always had strong contacts with the state, more specifically with the country’s president.
“I decided to say everything about my relationship with the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic; “Interior Minister Aleksandar Vulin, Vucic’s brother, friends, godparents and all the other politicians who asked for our services, and now they pretend not to know and want to wash their hands of us,” Belivuk said.
He said he maintained contacts with President Vuçiç mainly through hooligan Aleksandar Vidojević, better known as Aca Rošavi, who is a friend of the president’s son. He also threatened to reveal more details in the future “if some people do not come to their senses”.
