“Prison arrest” was given by the Court of First Instance in Shkodra for the two doctors Ervin Sulaj and Serdi Memini as well as the nurse from Shkodra Diellë Macaj.
Meanwhile, for the citizen Fatbardh Dyli, the father of the injured citizen Elmedin Dyli, the court gave the security measure “obligation to appear” by releasing him, at the request of the Shkodra prosecutor’s office.
Both doctors and the nurse are suspected of the criminal offense “passive corruption of persons exercising public functions”.
The Court of First Instance in Shkodra rejected the request of the prosecution to transfer this file to the SPAK for further investigation.
In the press release, the police said that “they were detained because in the premises of a hospital center in Tirana, after a medical operation that surgeon Serdi Memini and anesthesiologist Ervin Sulaj performed on citizens Elmedin Dyli, injured in the evening of the date On June 27, in Velipoja, the patient’s father, citizen Fatbardh Dyli, is suspected of giving the two doctors a sum of money to perform the operation. After the controls exercised, the Police services have found and seized in the quality of material evidence the amount of 377,000 new lek and 55 euros ”.
