LDSH reaction regarding the inscription of the sign at the border point Cemi i Trieshit-Grabom:
The Albanian Democratic League, as a responsible political entity, and protector and promoter of national rights, reacts harshly, regarding the inscription on the sign of the common border point between Montenegro and Albania, “Cries i Trieshit-Grabom”.
First, this is a distortion of the Albanian language, a scandalous translation of the meaning, and especially of the toponymy, not to mention tendentious, from the Montenegrin side. On this occasion, the competent institutions of the Republic of Albania are surprised to accept, and legitimize such discrimination of the Albanian language, through the use of the same discriminatory inscription, on the Albanian side, in which case they appear extremely inferior to the Slavic naming of these ethnic lands. We ask the institutions of Albania, and then of Montenegro, to react, and this “mistake” to be corrected urgently.
