Technology has shown us that through it not only physical barriers have been broken down, but also the myths of a society. The 9th edition of the ICT Awards, which has started the preparations for the grand finale, paves the way for a decade of Albanian technology.
On May 29-30, the shortlisted candidates for the 9th edition of the ICT Awards showed that their limit was their imagination.
The participation of an Albanian-speaking innovation from Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia, the Presevo Valley, the entire Albanian diaspora is what gives the true character of this competition: a nationwide competition.
Proven as the temple of Albanian-speaking innovation, the jury of the 9th edition of the ICT Awards consisting of: Altin Petre, Visar Jasiqi, Alda Shehu, Azir Aliu, Igli Gjelishti, Gjergji Guri, Elton Domnori, Edlira Martiri AND Ilir Capuni with only a few days from the big night Gala of June 11, he ran towards innovation by splitting through the emotion and passion of 18 candidates in Tirana and 18 in Prishtina.
A jury independent of the competition organizers and composed of prominent technology figures, experts and distinguished professionals traveled from Tirana to Pristina.
Ideas, projects, ventures, studies, diplomas, startups and careers proven before the jury from the short list of candidates of this edition but also the finalists and winners from the first edition are the true value of a mission of more than 9 years.
From building a programming language, analyzing cyber attacks, technology in the service of life, to developing applications and platforms that promise to change the way Albanians work and live, are the fairest reflection of an Albania as we should see it true.
Touching almost every aspect of the lives of Albanians everywhere in Albanian-speaking areas, from the Covid-19 fight to online insecurity, this race has never known a loser but only a winner.
