The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) launched the third call in the Star Venture program in order to identify innovative startups and develop their full potential.
In the Western Balkans, applications for this program are open until 1 August 2021 and startups joining Star Venture will benefit from international expert advice, mentorship and opportunities to connect with potential investors.
Star Venture in the Western Balkans is supported by the Luxembourg Ministry of Finance.
Working with small to medium enterprises over 25 years has provided the EBRD with the expertise needed to support the startup ecosystem.
Currently this program operates in Albania, Kosovo, Montenegro, Serbia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Northern Macedonia, Egypt, Jordan and Tunisia.
Over 200 new companies have been supported by this program in the Western Balkans and the Southern and Eastern Mediterranean Region.
What does the program offer?
At Star Venture startups will benefit from business workshops, personalized counseling, online and physical mentoring sessions, access to a global network of business partners and access to finance.
Startups that want to join Star Venture must be based in one of the Western Balkan countries, have revenues of up to 1 million euros, be on the market for 5 years and possess the right technology to grow further.
