The large fire that has engulfed the Karburun peninsula which is directed towards Llogara has been brought under control.
Prime Minister Edi Rama through a post on Facebook writes that the fury of flames towards the national park has been repelled.
He has published a video from the flame extinguishing operation, about which he writes that the staff who will work during the night have already been replaced.
“The fury of the flames towards the Llogara National Park is being repelled, and now the troops that will continue throughout the night with the control of the situation have just been refreshed” – Rama writes.
