SPAK has provided official information on Operation “Spirit” in 4 different countries, including Albania.
Among the lines, it is emphasized that among those arrested are two escorts of former Interior Minister Saimir Tahiri in 2016, Hekuran Marku and Agustin Deda. The others are a prosecutor and three senior police officers.
In particular, personal security measures have been executed (in addition to the 10 citizens who were previously arrested as part of Operation Roof) for a public administrator (director), a prosecutor, three senior police officers and two other police officers. , the latter two at the time of the commission of criminal offenses – in 2016 – with the duty of members of the escort group of the former Minister of Interior. “Public officials, in some cases drug owners, have guaranteed, not only by land, but also by sea in Albania, that the shipment of narcotics destined for the shores of Puglia be carried out with complete safety.” and SPAK.
Meanwhile, a total of 6 tons of marijuana, cocaine and hashish were seized, 55 million euros and a total amount of 14 million doses.
