Two Albanians arrested for cannabis cultivation after British authorities discovered they had turned a temple into a grass house.
According to foreign media, 38-year-old Fatjon Jaupaj was arrested when police raided the building in Bradford, where 645 cannabis plants were found in 6 rooms with special equipment and a camera monitoring system.
Jaupaj was sentenced to 24 months in prison, but was told he would be deported after pleading guilty to cannabis production.
Also in Bradford, Ervis Roçi and Edi Kotorri were caught with another “bar house”. Cannabis grown by them in a temple, reached the market the figure of 500 thousand pounds. Intensive heating units and ventilation equipment were discovered in the building.
One of the two Albanians told law enforcement that he took care of watering the plants and controlled the lighting. Both Roci and Kotor have each been sentenced to 20 months in prison each.
