The former prosecutor who served for the file of the serious event of January 21, Shkëlqim Hajdari has announced other punishments for criminal contingents and persons who have served in the state administration.
His statements come in the framework of the finalization of Operation “Spirit”, which was coordinated by the Albanian and Italian police, handcuffing 28 people, including criminal contingents, prosecutors and other officials.
He said today during an interview on “Frontline”, that every week there will be such news, because in a period of time 2014-2015-2016 has been trafficked in bulk from our country to European countries.
Former prosecutor Hajdari stated that the US has invested heavily in Justice Reform and is seeking results.
Shkëlqim Hajdari: We have other files that the Italian prosecution has, they have in hand issues that are very important, there will be a wave of penalties. Prosecutors, judges and former police officers. 5 years ago, many drugs were trafficked from Albania. Officials are more important than politicians, they hold the state. I hope that our prosecutors and the Italian ones have evidence, as it would be a disappointment if some of the detainees were released continuously. Ambassador Kim, the IOM has no conflict of interest here so expect a lot when it comes to Justice Reform, they themselves have invested a lot. Remember that large assets that have been embezzled through corruption by Albanian officials and put in the name of other persons will be seized. every week we will have such news related to arrests or beatings of criminal activities, where former or current Albanian officials are also involved. The bell is ringing for everyone!
