To date Samsung has tried to avoid Wear OS in favor of Tizen OS for the Galaxy smartwatch line.
The strategy in question could change very quickly with the Galaxy Watch 4 which reportedly will have Google operating system.
A report from SamMobile says that the Galaxy Watch 4 will have WearOS with One UI 3.x interface. but Samsung will also sell models with its own Tizen operating system while the company will maintain the same look for both variants.
However it is speculated that Samsung will leave Tizen permanently towards the end of this year. The Watch 4 comes in three different models and at its heart will be a Snapdragon Wear 4100 or 4100+ chip.
Introduced last year, the 4100 is more efficient than past chips especially in WearOS. It offers 85% more performance while the graphics are 2.5 times faster.
So far only one hour has debuted with this chip and it is TichWatch Pro 3. / PCWorld Albanian
