In 1971, “Apollo 15” launches on the Moon, with 32 small flags on board, from all over the world, caught with a rope. The senior NASA technician at the time was William Kokalari, or Vilson Kokalari, an Albanian of Gjirokastra descent.
Upon completion of the mission, the flags came out in a large auction.
The flag in question, at that time with the yellow star, has a writing of the astronaut and his signature. It is also associated with the certificate of authenticity, while currently preserved by collectors.
