The action against the illegal capture of sand on the coast of this city has started this morning in Durrës.
There are two groups in the field with municipal police and the State Police, as the latter is the initiator of this action.
So far, the sunbeds and tents of the three entities have been seized. The action is taking place from the Dajlan Bridge to Iliria, as well as from the Agait Stream to the Kavaja Rock, according to the information received in three sectors.
Police action is underway for all those entities that have occupied beach territory without official permission.
The action for the release of public spaces on the beach of Durrës started today, a day after the ultimatum of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
In a press conference, Rama warned yesterday the subjects to vacate the illegally occupied spaces themselves, or else the tents and sunbeds will be confiscated.
