The Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama on Saturday thanked especially the former chairman of this party, Fatos Nano, whom he considered as his political father.

Rama also thanked all those people who served the country on behalf of the Socialist Party.
“This is a beautiful birthday. Today has not only the uniqueness of the 30th anniversary but also the special taste of the victory achieved for the third time in a row for the first time in the history of Albanian pluralism. Thank you to everyone who gave this party its name, mission, values and great features of change.
