The Prime Minister of Albania Edi Rama met today in Tuz the mayor of Tuz Mr. Nik Gjeloshaj as well as two Albanian deputies in the Montenegrin parliament, Genci Nimanbegun and Fatmir Gjeka.
“In the meeting we discussed the latest political events in the country, the problems and discrimination that is being done to Albanian municipalities in Montenegro by the new Government. Also, I informed the Prime Minister about the way of functioning and development projects that the Municipality of Tuzi has for this year “, writes Mr. Gjeloshaj in an article on social networks about this meeting, reports Ulqini Online.
Prime Minister Rama congratulated the well-functioning local administration led by Albanians in Tuz. According to Mr. Gjeloshaj, Rama stressed that very soon we will have another meeting where we will be able to discuss in detail the current situation of Albanians in Montenegro, the problems and the way of their solution, as well as various projects of common interest. .
Also present at the meeting were the Deputy Mayor of Tuz Ivan Ivanaj, the Ambassador of the Republic of Albania to Montenegro Ridi Kurtezi, as well as the Albanian MPs of the Parliament of Montenegro, Genci Nimanbegu and Fatmir Gjeka.
